Out and About

Here's a brief list of some of the fun we've been up to the last month. JCG is so social, he loves to see his "peeps."

• Breakfast with Becky at the diner; coloring on "Gecky's" lap
• Playdate with Betsy at the indoor play area at the mall (too cold to be outside!) Thanks for hanging out with us while my car was in the shop!
• We got to see Kim Bear who was visiting for the weekend, yippee! We hope to have a photo shoot with JCG in June when she returns
• Dinner at Allison and Stella's house with Owen & Eli; almost daily, on the way home, Joaquin asks if we will see them - "O-Eli, Tella"
• Stella came to play at our house, pushed Joaquin on his tricycle (feet can almost reach the petals) and they made a fort out of blankets and chairs to hide...brought back many memories of doing the same thing when we were kids
• Maryann had a dinner party when her "mommy" was visiting, during which Tia Vilma, Tia Isa, and Tio David totally entertained him...accidently had a sip of his first sangria beverage!
• Party at Traci's house for her family's Bon Voyage to D.C. - loved the water slide and automatic trash can opener - anything mechanical, I'm telling you...
• JCG's first end of the year school progam for the Ancilla Center (pre-school/day care was May 18th, 6:00 p.m. We lasted until 6:15 p.m. I was pleased with this considering he stood there like a rock while the other kids did their little song and dance. He was not amused. I filmed about 7 minutes of it until I figured out nothing was going to change on his end. Once we got to the car he did the little hand motions and everything. He just couldn't get into character onstage, happens to all of us...
