Quick Pics

Here are some new pics, I'll keep adding them. We're doing great, every day better than the last. I finally got a good night's sleep last night, and today we have an easy day. Joaquin is turning into a chatterbox, takes him forever to settle into sleep. He is so curious ab out everything going on in the street. It is all new to him. He just woke up--got to go!

WhuuHooo!!!! Go Mommy!!!! You guys make a great team. He looks sooo good in your arms- content and happy (the pictures really say more than words ever could)! He is a special addition to our family. I'm an Auntie - yea for me - Just call me Auntie Shar. My ultimate prayer has been answered - that you would love, and like, each other easily. I have to tell you Karen that when I got home yesterday, a plant that hasn't bloomed forever in my south window had the most beautiful red bloom just opening up. It was there to greet me like a little gift. I thought it came on just the right day to honor the joy of Joaquin coming into your arms and the gift he will be to our family at last! I pray blessings, blessings, blessings while you are traveling and lots of love! Your Sis, Shar

You both look so perfect together, so natural! This was totally meant to be! I'm so glad we get to watch him grow! You really do look like a natural mother in the pictures! I see peace and happiness in both your faces!

Hey Karen,
I thought of you today when I heard this Dixie Chicks song: Lullaby

They didn't have you where I come from
Never knew the best was yet to come
Life began when I saw your face
And I hear your laugh like a serenade
How long do you want to be loved
Is forever enough, is forever enough
Cause I'm never, never giving you up

Karen,
It's just awesome to see the pictures and hear the love, excitement and commitment in your voice. What a lucky little guy to have the opportunity to be your family. He's in for a very blessed life. And you are about to experience one of the most precious kinds of love... that of a mother for her child. There is nothing like it. Nearly 6 years ago the good Lord blessed me in the same way through fertility treatments. It is truly one of the best things to have ever happened to me. I know this little guy will change your life in the same way. Life will be richer, love deeper, laughter sweeter, and each day more fun. There is just no way to tell you how blessed your life will be because of him. Enjoy every minute, get all of the hugs you can and keep posting those pictures and descriptions of your time there! Emme wants to drive to KC to see her newest cousin!
