Joaquin the Explorer
Quick story - JCG is hooked on Dora the Explorer as I had this on the TV pretty much constantly the first few days post-surgery. Also, the last time at the hospital they gave him Dora stickers. He really wanted to watch more Dora the other day and I said no. Ten seconds later he has the DVD player open, puts his Dora stickers in the DVD and is trying to get the DVD slot to close. One way or another, he was going to make it happen!

That's a very cute story about Joaquin! I hadn't visited your blog in quite a while...I had no idea that he already had surgery! That's terrific! I'm glad to hear that you both had (and continue to have) a lot of support around you. I'd love to catch up with you sometime!

Hi Karen and Joaquin! I just got on to catch up with you two. So glad to hear the surgery went well, and I can't believe it's been 4 months!! You and Joaquin are frequently in my thoughts and prayers. Dave and I are talking about a trip to KC this spring. We want to meet Joaquin. I'll be in touch....Rebecca A.
